Head of Site Infrastructure & Services (Mining & Natural Resources)

About the role

The Head of Site Infrastructure & Services will lead the planning, construction, maintenance and operation of all critical infrastructure supporting remote mining activities in Mave, Papua New Guinea. Reporting to senior leadership, the role ensures reliable utilities, accommodation, roads and facilities that enable safe and uninterrupted production.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design and deliver infrastructure projects such as camps, workshops, warehouses, roads, drainage, bridges and operational facilities.
• Manage site utilities including power generation, water supply, wastewater treatment, fuel storage and related services.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programmes for buildings, mechanical assets and camp infrastructure.
• Supervise multidisciplinary maintenance teams, contractors and external service providers, ensuring safety and quality standards.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, contractor performance and engineering quality to achieve timely delivery.
• Coordinate closely with mining operations, logistics, procurement and executive leadership.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in infrastructure, construction or facilities management within remote or mining environments.
• Strong track record of delivering large‑scale projects on time and within budget.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and external contractors safely.
• Commitment to safety, environmental compliance and operational reliability.
