About the role

Newmont PNG is offering a 10‑week Industrial Trainee Program for chemistry‑focused university students at its Lihir mining operation. Trainees will work alongside industry experts on real mining projects, gaining practical experience in a world‑class environment.

Required profile

Enrolled in the 2nd or 3rd year of a relevant degree program.
Studying Applied Science, Chemistry, Mineral Processing, Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Health & Safety Engineering (preferably Chemical Engineering).
