About the role

Join Cummins as a Mechanical Apprentice and develop hands‑on expertise in diagnosing and repairing a range of Cummins engine products. Working under the supervision of a qualified Cummins Technician, you will rotate through automotive, industrial, marine and mining engine departments to gain comprehensive experience.

Key responsibilities

• Perform diagnosis and repair of Cummins engines and related products.
• Assist in maintenance tasks across automotive, industrial, marine and mining engine lines.
• Follow safety and wellbeing procedures on all tasks.
• Rotate through regional sites and different departments to broaden technical exposure.

Required profile

• Positive attitude with a strong eagerness to learn.
• Passion for working on Cummins products and the engine industry.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, literacy and numeracy skills.
• Completed Year 12 or equivalent and willingness to work in regional areas.
• Commitment to safety, diversity and a collaborative workplace.
