Senior Manager Technology Category Management

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Group Procurement & Strategic Sourcing, the Senior Manager, Technology Category Management leads BSP's technology sourcing and category management strategy. The role provides enterprise‑wide leadership across the procurement lifecycle for hardware, software and services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end sourcing, contracting and purchasing activities across the technology portfolio.
• Develop and execute category strategies, sourcing pipelines and procurement plans aligned to business and technology objectives.
• Negotiate complex technology contracts, software licensing agreements, SaaS arrangements and strategic supplier engagements.
• Drive value creation through supplier negotiations, spend analysis, savings initiatives and commercial optimisation.
• Partner with technology leaders to support roadmaps while ensuring strong procurement governance and compliance.
• Monitor vendor performance, licence compliance, contractual obligations and supplier risk management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Supply Chain or related discipline.
• Minimum five years' experience in technology category management, IT sourcing, procurement or vendor management.
• Proven experience negotiating technology contracts, including software licensing, SaaS, hardware and services agreements.
• Strong understanding of technology sourcing practices, licensing models, vendor risk and commercial contract structures.
• Ability to influence and partner effectively with senior stakeholders.
