Underground Diamond Driller

About the role

We are seeking experienced Diamond Drillers and Diamond Drilling Supervisors to support ongoing mining and exploration drilling operations in Papua New Guinea. The successful candidates will deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality drilling services while contributing to project objectives and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain diamond drilling rigs in underground and surface environments.
• Deliver quality core samples and meet drilling targets.
• Perform regular inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of drilling equipment.
• Adhere to site safety standards and operational procedures.
• For supervisory roles: lead drilling crews, coordinate daily activities, monitor performance, ensure compliance, and prepare operational reports.

Required profile

• Proven diamond drilling experience in underground and/or surface operations.
• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory drilling role.
• Strong technical, safety, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working in remote mining environments.
