Warehouse Worker – Porgera, PNG

About the role

As a Warehouse Worker at Sandvik Mining in Porgera, you will support daily warehouse and distribution operations, ensuring spare parts and materials are supplied to end users in line with company logistics procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Receive, receipt, pick, pack and dispatch spare parts and materials.
• Control WIP parts for workshop jobs.
• Prepare shipping documentation.
• Maintain order and inventory control, including stock cycle counting and full stock takes.
• Manage strategic stock, goods in transit, product stock and obsolescence reserves.
• Analyse data and drive stock optimisation initiatives such as returns processes.
• Perform general warehouse maintenance and housekeeping.

Required profile

• Completed Year 12 secondary education.
• Proven knowledge of inventory management systems.
• Effective team player who can also work autonomously.
• Strong computer skills with advanced experience in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage own time effectively.
• Fluent communication in English.
• High initiative, drive and determination to meet customer‑satisfaction targets.
