Accounts Payable Officer

About the role

K92 Mining Limited is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to manage supplier invoices, reconciliations and payments for its Kainantu Gold Mine operations. The role supports the finance team by ensuring accurate, timely processing of all AP transactions while upholding the company’s Code of Conduct and Core Values.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, review and process supplier invoices using the Pronto system.
• Match invoices against purchase orders and goods receipts.
• Prepare invoices for payment according to established schedules.
• Maintain orderly filing of all AP documents for easy retrieval.
• Liaise with Procurement, Warehouse and other departments to resolve invoice issues.

Required profile

• Certificate or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in Accounts Payable, finance administration or accounting support.
• Experience in mining, logistics, construction or similar operational environments is an advantage.
• Self‑starter with strong problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to meet deadlines and maintain good relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Pronto accounting software.
