Learning & Development Coordinator

About the role
The Learning & Development Coordinator will strengthen the capabilities of World Vision Papua New Guinea staff by designing and delivering learning strategies that support the organisation’s mission and objectives. This role works closely with senior management, department heads and regional advisors to build a culture of continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement National Office Talent Programs in line with regional guidelines.
- Compile and execute the Annual Capacity Building Plan in collaboration with senior management and department heads.
- Ensure Learning & Reflection plans are in place for Area Programs and the National Office.
- Design and facilitate workshops on People & Culture, organisational development and change management.
- Manage the Talent Pool, track candidate progress, create Individual Development Plans and oversee SAP Academy nominations.
- Lead staff engagement and wellbeing initiatives, including the Our Voice Survey rollout and quarterly action‑point updates.
- Maintain an effective staff orientation programme and support the full performance management cycle in Workday.
- Act as the focal point for People & Culture learning needs, liaise with external training providers and supervise assigned staff.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years experience in People & Culture management and staff development.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Professional People & Culture certification.
- Direct experience facilitating organisational change and P&C interventions.
- At least 2 years P&C experience in a country office setting.
- Proven ability to work with multicultural teams and develop people across cultures.
- Comprehensive understanding of all HRM functions and their integration.
