Finance Executive

About the role

Digicel Pacific is looking for a Finance Executive to join its Finance Department. The role focuses on the efficient execution of all finance functions while safeguarding cash and inventory, ensuring accurate daily reconciliations and timely reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile daily roadshow stocks and cash by reviewing opening stock, sales, and closing returned stock.
• Flag variances to the General Manager and ensure outstanding stocks are reconciled before issuing new stock.
• Perform daily cash‑in procedures with Cellmoni and bank takings, and submit signed cash cheques.
• Submit weekly Imprest, Petty Cash, and Opex acquittals to the POM Treasury team using correct GL codes.
• Investigate and resolve stock variances to eliminate recurring issues.
• Prepare and submit daily Stock on Hand (SOH) and stock movement reports.
• Conduct month‑end stock counts, reconcile physical counts with inventory records, and address discrepancies.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in business, accounting, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar finance role.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Team‑oriented with a drive to propose finance improvements.
• Honest, trustworthy, and able to meet tight reporting deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills.
