Global Information Management Officer

About the role

The Global Information Management Officer will support HALO programmes across the Indo‑Pacific region, designing and maintaining information management and GIS systems. Based in a HALO office in the region, the role involves frequent travel to field programmes and coordination with global and regional IM teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define information requirements, data flows, and quality assurance procedures.
• Design, develop, and manage databases and ETL/ELT processes.
• Create and test data collection forms using Esri ArcGIS tools such as Survey123.
• Support programme teams with GIS and information management best practices.
• Collaborate with the Global IM team, Transformation Directorate, GICHD and national authorities.

Required profile

• Currently residing in an Indo‑Pacific country where HALO operates.
• Willingness to travel regularly and work evenings to accommodate multiple time zones.
• Experience in information management, GIS, and database development.

Required skills

• ArcGIS (including Survey123)
• Database design and management
• ETL/ELT tools
• Data quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC)
