About the role

Join Cummins as a Mechanical Apprentice and develop hands‑on expertise in diagnosing and repairing a range of Cummins engine products. Working under the guidance of qualified technicians, you will rotate through automotive, industrial, marine and mining departments to build a solid foundation for a long‑term career.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the diagnosis and repair of Cummins engines and related products.
• Rotate across regional sites and different engine product lines to gain broad exposure.
• Complete off‑the‑job training and structured on‑the‑job learning modules.
• Follow safety and quality procedures in all workshop activities.

Required profile

• Positive attitude with a strong eagerness to learn.
• Passion for working with engine products and the broader industry.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, literacy and numeracy skills.
• Completed Year 12 (or equivalent) and willingness to work in regional areas.
• Commitment to safety, wellbeing and diversity in the workplace.
