Non-Executive Director (Board Member)

About the role

Nambawan Super Limited, Papua New Guinea's largest superannuation fund, is seeking a distinguished leader to join its Board as a Non-Executive Director. Reporting to the Board Chair, you will provide independent oversight, strategic guidance, and robust governance to protect and grow the retirement savings of hundreds of thousands of members.

Key responsibilities

• Strengthen governance, risk management and regulatory compliance across the fund.
• Identify and evaluate new investment opportunities locally and internationally.
• Support the delivery of strong, long‑term investment outcomes for members.
• Champion digital transformation and innovation initiatives.
• Enhance member experience and service delivery.

Required profile

• Respected Papua New Guinean business leader with senior executive experience.
• Demonstrated sound judgement, integrity and commercial acumen.
• Ability to satisfy the Bank of Papua New Guinea's Fit & Proper requirements.
• Residency in Papua New Guinea.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications (MBA or postgraduate degrees highly regarded).
