Project Manager – Technology Programs Delivery

About the role

Kina Bank is seeking a resilient, design‑thinking leader to join its Technology Programs Delivery team. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, you will drive high‑impact technology projects from concept through implementation, supporting the bank’s growth and digital transformation in Papua New Guinea.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technology projects from initiation through implementation and post‑delivery support.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define scope, objectives, plans, and statements of work.
• Evaluate technical solutions from internal teams, vendors, and partners, providing informed recommendations.
• Establish and manage project budgets, timelines, deliverables, and resource requirements.
• Monitor progress, report risks, issues, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders.
• Manage project dependencies, vendor performance, and implementation activities.
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, user acceptance testing, rollout planning, and implementation.
• Drive proactive risk management and enforce change control processes.
• Ensure deliverables comply with bank policies, regulatory requirements, and PMO standards.
• Collaborate across business and technology teams to support continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or equivalent industry experience.
• Minimum 3 years applying formal project management methodologies.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Project Manager.
• At least 5 years experience within IT environments.
• Proven success delivering technology‑focused projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills, including experience with senior leaders.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and analytical abilities.
