Regional Business Banking Advisor – English, Mandarin, Cantonese

About the role

The Regional Business Banking Advisor will manage and grow relationships with business customers across multiple segments. The role requires fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese to serve diverse clients while protecting the bank’s financial position.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end relationship activities for regional business customers, from referral and onboarding to ongoing service and growth.
• Drive revenue by increasing product penetration across lending, transaction banking and deposits.
• Contribute to financial driver management to support growth and improve profitability.
• Prepare credit submissions that meet the bank’s standards and risk appetite.
• Monitor balance‑sheet exposure in line with the bank’s risk appetite and strategic segments.
• Ensure compliance with reporting standards for annual reviews, excess and arrears management, and ongoing customer monitoring.
• Act as the primary liaison for Cantonese‑ and Mandarin‑speaking business clients.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in business, finance or a related discipline (desired).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business or commercial banking.
• Fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese (written and spoken).
• Strong credit assessment skills with a track record of high‑quality submissions.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, influencing and negotiation abilities.
