Senior Associate – Assurance & Audit

About the role

EY is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Audit team in Papua New Guinea. You will work with diverse clients, applying audit expertise to deliver high‑quality assurance services and support business improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage audit processes, addressing audit risk and technical accounting matters such as revenue, financial instruments, and income taxes.
• Engage professionally with clients, providing advice throughout transactions and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
• Lead fieldwork, coach junior team members, and keep engagement leaders informed on audit progress.
• Stay updated on market trends and evolving audit methodologies.

Required profile

• A relevant degree with CA or CPA qualification.
• 3‑5 years of experience delivering external audit and assurance engagements.
• Proven ability to lead audit planning, execution, and reporting.
• Strong client relationship management and communication skills.
