Agent Coordinator

About the role

The Agent Coordinator will lead the development and management of Digicel's Mobile Money distribution network in Papua New Guinea, overseeing CellMoni and Master‑Agent acquisition, training, and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, recruit, onboard and activate new CellMoni agents across all regions, aligning with network expansion goals.
• Train agents on products, compliance, fraud prevention and operational procedures.
• Monitor agent transaction volumes, liquidity, and performance against KPIs, preparing regular reports.
• Maintain agent relationships, resolve concerns, and conduct regular visits to strengthen engagement.
• Ensure compliance with KYC, AML and company policies, supporting audits and reporting suspicious activity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing or related field (Master’s/MBA preferred).
• 4+ years of distribution experience in mobile financial services, fintech, telecom or financial sectors.
• Proven track record building and expanding a mass‑market distribution network.
• Strong operational experience with field visits and stakeholder management across diverse cultures.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and knowledge of financial services regulatory requirements.
