Product & Services Analyst – Mobile Financial Services

About the role

Digicel Financial Services Limited is looking for a data‑driven Product & Services Analyst to join its Mobile Financial Services (MFS) team in Port Moresby. Reporting to the Product & Services Manager – MFS, you will analyse product performance, user behaviour and market trends to generate actionable insights that drive growth, engagement and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse product usage data, transaction trends and user behaviour, monitoring metrics such as MAU, DAU, retention, conversion and churn.
• Build and maintain performance dashboards and prepare weekly and monthly product performance reports.
• Present insights and recommendations to product leadership and identify opportunities for product improvement and growth.
• Conduct cohort, segmentation and user journey analysis to pinpoint pain points and drop‑off points in the funnel.
• Measure the impact of new features, promotions or campaigns and provide data‑backed recommendations.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Intelligence and Data teams to ensure data accuracy and support product strategy.
• Support Marketing with campaign performance analysis and monitor industry trends and competitor products.
• Develop User Requirement Specification (URS) documents and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) before go‑live.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in product, data or business analytics, preferably in telecommunications or fintech.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to translate data into clear business insights and support data‑driven decision making.
