Driver and Administration Officer (Lae, Morobe Province)

About the role

The Driver and Administration Officer will support the Australia PNG Subnational Program (APSP) in Morobe Province by providing safe transportation for staff, consultants and visitors, and by handling office logistics and administrative tasks. The role is based in Lae and will commence in August 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the program vehicle to transport personnel to field sites, towns and airports, ensuring punctuality and safety.
• Maintain compliance with the fleet policy and procedures at all times.
• Keep accurate daily vehicle logs, recording mileage, fuel and oil purchases.
• Ensure vehicle documentation (registration, safety stickers) is current and displayed.
• Perform routine vehicle checks and upkeep to keep the vehicle clean, tidy and road‑worthy.
• Provide logistical support for field activities, including assisting other APSP programmes when required.
• Support general office administration and logistics tasks as needed.
