Middle/High School Day to Day Substitute Teacher

About the role

The school is looking for qualified individuals to serve as day‑to‑day substitutes for middle and high school classes. In this role you will step in for absent teachers, deliver pre‑planned lessons, and ensure continuity of learning for students.

Key responsibilities

• Follow and deliver the lesson plans prepared by the regular teacher.
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe learning environment.
• Record attendance and note student progress during the substitute period.
• Communicate any observations or concerns to the regular teacher and school staff.
• Adapt instructional delivery as needed to meet student needs.

Required profile

• Valid teaching certification or relevant credentials for middle/high school education.
• Experience working with adolescent students.
• Ability to follow curriculum guidelines and lesson plans.
• Strong classroom management and reliability.

• Interactive whiteboard operation
• Basic computer literacy
