Senior Business Analyst – Advisors & Consulting Services (12‑month fixed term)

About the role

This fixed‑term position is based in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea and will lead the program management of a large card migration initiative for a key Mastercard client. The role sits within a complex transformation programme, translating business needs into clear, actionable solutions that deliver measurable value.

Key responsibilities

• Program manage a large‑scale card migration and portfolio conversion project.
• Work across strategy, process, data and technology to define business requirements and functional specifications.
• Partner with client stakeholders, product owners, delivery teams and leadership to shape solutions and ensure successful implementation.
• Facilitate workshops, gather and prioritise requirements, and produce user stories.
• Support testing, validation and rollout activities to meet business objectives.
• Prepare executive‑ready communications, analysis, recommendations and status updates.
• Manage customer expectations and communications within a regulated environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in developing markets.
• Self‑starter with strong initiative and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with customer segmentation and campaign analytics in banking or finance.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and documentation skills.
