Trainer – Surface Haulage Services

About the role

K92 Mining Limited is seeking an experienced Trainer to deliver comprehensive training and assessment for the Surface Haulage Services (SHS) department. You will be responsible for ensuring safe operation of articulated dump trucks (ADT) used to transport ore from underground to the processing plant.

Key responsibilities

• Provide, maintain and improve competency levels of underground mining staff through structured training and assessment.
• Conduct inductions, onboarding and ongoing training for all heavy‑equipment operators.
• Deliver theory and practical sessions on ADT operation and related SHS equipment.
• Assess competencies against site standards, issue licences and perform final competency checks.
• Maintain accurate training records and track trainee progress.
• Promote a safe and healthy work culture and ensure training is delivered safely.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 10 education.
• At least 7 years experience in underground or open‑cut mining as a miner/operator.
• Prior supervisory experience.
• Certificate IV in Workplace Training (TRA40B) or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience as a trainer in a mining environment.
