Principal – Christian Grammar School (PNG)

About the role

The Highland Christian Grammar School is seeking a dynamic leader to serve as Principal from July 2026. Based in Mount Hagen, the school provides Christ‑centered education from Foundation through Grade 10 to a multicultural community of mission families and local families.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the school in fulfilling its Christian educational vision and values.
• Maintain high academic standards while nurturing spiritual growth.
• Ensure compliance with all educational regulations and quality standards.
• Foster a safe, caring environment that promotes student achievement and faith development.
• Oversee curriculum development, lesson planning and Biblical integration across subjects.
• Manage and support a multicultural teaching and support staff.

Required profile

• Strong commitment to Christian leadership and ethical conduct.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a diverse team.
• Experience in educational leadership, preferably in a Christian or international setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in education or a related teaching field.
• Valid teaching credentials or certification from your country of origin.
• Minimum of one year classroom teaching experience.
• Proficiency in English.
