Bridge/Structural Engineer – Highway Projects

About the role

Surbana Jurong is seeking a Bridge/Structural Engineer to join its team and contribute to the design of high‑quality highway infrastructure. The successful candidate will work on bridge and structural projects, often funded by multilateral development banks, delivering innovative and sustainable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of bridges and related civil structures for highway projects.
• Prepare detailed design calculations, drawings, and specifications in line with project standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integration of structural solutions within overall project plans.
• Support project documentation, review, and compliance with MDB funding requirements.
• Participate in site inspections and provide technical guidance during construction phases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering; a Master’s degree in structural engineering is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience designing bridges or structures for highway projects.
• Experience with projects funded by multilateral development banks is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of structural analysis and bridge design principles.
• Familiarity with highway infrastructure standards and MDB project guidelines.
