Fleet Coordinator – Vehicle Management

About the role

The Fleet Coordinator will support the Fleet Manager in overseeing BAT PNG's vehicle fleet, ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and asset security across all locations. This role is central to maintaining accurate records, coordinating maintenance, and driving cost‑effective, safe fleet operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily fleet operations, including vehicle allocation, handovers, returns, and record‑keeping.
• Monitor compliance requirements such as registrations, insurance, roadworthy certifications, and adherence to company policies.
• Arrange vehicle servicing and repairs, track downtime, costs, and maintenance schedules.
• Support fleet reporting, KPI tracking, incident management, and insurance claim processes.
• Engage with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant fleet activities.

Required profile

• Experience in fleet management, logistics, asset management, facilities administration, or a similar coordination role.
• Strong administrative and organisational abilities with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of coordinating across multiple functions and external partners.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, proactively follow up on issues, and maintain policy compliance.
