Operations and Project Manager

About the role

KTowers PNG Limited is looking for an experienced Operations and Project Manager to lead technical operations and deliver multiple telecom, infrastructure, power and managed‑service projects in Port Moresby.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the technical operations team, field activities, managed services and maintenance programmes to meet availability, quality and SLA targets.
• Manage the Network Operations Center (NOC) – real‑time monitoring, alarm handling, incident escalation, ticketing, KPI/SLA tracking and reporting.
• Deliver projects from initiation through planning, execution, commissioning, customer acceptance and close‑out, controlling scope, schedule, budget, quality and risk.
• Oversee telecom site builds, including civil works, towers, power systems, transmission, equipment installation, testing and commissioning.
• Mentor engineers, technicians and NOC personnel, set KPIs and develop competencies.
• Control operational and project budgets, OPEX, logistics and cost‑to‑complete, and support procurement with technical specifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, IT, Project Management or related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in telecom infrastructure, operations, managed services or project delivery with proven team leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, budgets, schedules and risks.
• PMP or equivalent certification is desirable.
