Procurement and Grants Officer

About the role

The Procurement and Grants Officer will support the Australia‑Pacific Partnerships Platform, an Australian Government initiative managed by DT Global. The role focuses on delivering procurement and grant services to Pacific Island countries, primarily operating in Papua New Guinea.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end procurement processes in line with DFAT guidelines.
• Oversee grant administration, including disbursement, monitoring and reporting.
• Coordinate with local partners and government agencies to ensure compliance and effective delivery.
• Prepare procurement and grant documentation, contracts, and financial reports.
• Provide advisory support for program design, implementation and evaluation.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in business, finance, international development or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in procurement and/or grant management, preferably in a development context.
• Knowledge of Australian Government procurement and grant policies (DFAT).
• Ability to work effectively in Papua New Guinea and adapt to multicultural environments.
