Technical Trainer – Mobile Plant Maintenance

About the role

K92 Mining Limited is seeking a Technical Trainer to manage and deliver employee technical training programmes, focusing on mobile plant maintenance for our national staff. You will ensure training aligns with company standards and external accreditation requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical and non‑technical training in line with the Technical Training Standard (HR‑ST‑701).
• Assist trainers with Training Needs Analysis and planning activities.
• Administer Safetrac training, maintain records, track compliance and produce reports.
• Schedule non‑technical training programmes and support School‑to‑Mine and Wellness initiatives.
• Manage training documentation for the HR department and ensure accurate record‑keeping.
• Promote a safe and healthy culture and ensure compliance with K92 safety policies and legislative requirements.

Required profile

• Mechanical Trade qualification.
• Certificate IV in Workplace Training.
• Valid Class 7 PNG driver’s licence.
• Minimum 4 years experience delivering training, preferably in mining or construction.
• Experience with relevant machinery and strong computer literacy.
