About the role
The National Central Bank is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to provide strategic financial leadership and ensure robust investment governance. Reporting directly to the Governor, the CFO will guide the Executive Committee and Board in achieving the bank’s economic stability and regulatory objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage annual budgets, short‑term financial strategies, and long‑term financial plans.
- Oversee financial reporting in strict compliance with IFRS and statutory requirements.
- Lead asset and liability management, cash‑flow oversight, and treasury coordination.
- Implement and maintain internal controls, audit readiness, and external reporting systems.
- Advise the Governor and Executive Committee on financial risk, resource allocation, and investment opportunities.
- Lead a multidisciplinary finance team, fostering professional development and service excellence.
Required profile
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Post‑graduate credentials in Finance or Public Financial Management (preferred).
- Professional accounting certification (CPA, CA, or equivalent).
- Minimum 10 years of senior financial leadership experience, preferably in central banks or public financial institutions.
- Proven experience managing large fiscal budgets and producing financial projections.
