Customs Licensed Broker

About the role

TKHS Customs Broker is looking for a qualified Customs Licensed Broker to manage the clearance of all inbound and outbound shipments in Port Moresby. The successful candidate will ensure full compliance with Papua New Guinea customs regulations and keep the company informed of any regulatory changes that could affect operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee customs clearance for all incoming and outgoing cargo.
• Maintain accurate records of customs transactions and documentation.
• Provide advice to internal teams on customs requirements and procedures.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve customs‑related discrepancies.
• Stay current with updates to customs laws and regulations.

Required profile

• Active PNG Customs Broker licence with examination results on file.
• Minimum two years of experience as a customs compiler or broker.
• No outstanding liabilities or warnings with PNG Customs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Current driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience using customs software such as AW++ or AW.
