Licensed Customs Broker

About the role

We are looking for a Licensed Customs Broker to manage the customs clearance process for all incoming and outgoing shipments at our Port Moresby office. The role ensures full compliance with PNG customs regulations and keeps the business updated on regulatory changes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customs clearance for all inbound and outbound shipments.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant customs regulations and laws.
• Maintain accurate records of customs transactions.
• Advise internal stakeholders on customs requirements.
• Identify and resolve customs‑related issues and discrepancies.
• Stay up‑to‑date with changes to customs regulations that may affect the business.

Required profile

• Active PNG Customs Broker licence with examination results.
• No outstanding liabilities or warnings with PNG Customs.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum two years experience as a customs compiler or broker.
• Current driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with customs software such as AW++ or AW.
