Project Management Officer – Financial Crime Compliance

About the role

The Program Management Officer supports the Head of KYC & Program Management in strengthening BSP’s Financial Crime Compliance Management framework. This role ensures AML/CTF, Sanctions and Anti‑Bribery & Corruption programs remain aligned with regulatory requirements and emerging risks.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the review and enhancement of BSP’s AML/CTF, Sanctions and Anti‑Bribery & Corruption programs, policies and frameworks.
• Monitor regulatory developments and emerging financial crime risks, integrating them into program design and controls.
• Provide specialist advice on compliance risks and regulatory requirements to senior management and key stakeholders.
• Assess the effectiveness of FCCM systems, identify gaps and drive remediation actions.
• Develop and maintain FCCM KPIs and KRIs, and prepare regular reports for management.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Business Management, Law or a related field.
• Minimum five years’ experience in a financial institution with exposure to financial crime, regulatory compliance, operational risk or product management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
• Excellent research, analytical abilities and capability to organise and analyse complex data sets.
