Refrigeration Technician

About the role

The Refrigeration Technician will be responsible for repairing and maintaining all CCEP cold‑drink equipment in Mt. Hagen, ensuring accurate records of maintenance and movements. This position requires a proactive approach to service tasks and a strong focus on safety and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Repair and maintain refrigeration, HVAC, vending, post‑mix, premix dispensing equipment and ice machines.
• Maintain security of equipment records, including service logs, maintenance history and movement tracking.
• Diagnose faults, perform troubleshooting and carry out preventive maintenance.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical‑Electrical/Technical Engineering or related field.
• 3‑5 years experience in refrigeration/HVAC roles, with diagnostic/troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Well‑presented, personable, able to work independently in a challenging environment.
• Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.

Required skills

• Refrigeration and HVAC system knowledge.
• Mechanical, electrical and technical aptitude.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Familiarity with health, safety and environment management requirements.
