Audit Manager & Senior Manager

About the role

PwC is hiring an Audit Manager and Senior Manager in its External Audit line of service in Port Moresby. The role sits in the Assurance practice and offers a career providing assurance services and business advice to clients ranging from small, fast-growing companies to large, internationally known brands. The team uses the latest technology to reduce manual testing so that time can be focused on the most valuable areas of client service.

Key responsibilities

• Work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping clients solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.
• Proactively manage a portfolio of clients while reporting to Senior Managers and above.
• Take part in the financial management of clients.
• Take part in business development to identify and research opportunities with new and existing clients.
• Help develop the technical acumen of yourself and your team, and devise strategies to solve complex technical challenges.
• Assist in managing and delivering large projects.
• Train, coach and supervise staff.
• Stay up to date with local and national business and economic issues.
• Build internal relationships and develop your PwC brand.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Taxation.
• Preferred: certifications (not specified).
