About the role
PwC is hiring a Tax Manager in Port Moresby for its Corporate Tax services line. The role advises clients on local and overseas tax matters and acts as a strategic consultant on business analysis, working capital management and profit sharing for partners. It also covers transfer pricing, the tax implications of deals, and corporate tax strategy, compliance and post-tax profitability.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients and report to Senior Managers and above
- Take part in the financial management of clients
- Help identify and research opportunities with new and existing clients through business development
- Build the technical knowledge of yourself and your team, and develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges
- Assist in managing and delivering large projects
- Train, coach and supervise staff
- Stay up to date with local and national business and economic issues
- Develop internal relationships and the PwC brand
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Taxation
- Extensive consulting and industry experience
