Site Manager – PNG Operations

About the role

Monadelphous is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead its PNG Operations team on a permanent 3:3 roster. The role requires a strong trade background, proven leadership, and a commitment to a safety‑first culture while building effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring contractual obligations, project deliverables, and client expectations are achieved.
• Coordinate and oversee site activities, monitor progress, resolve issues, and identify variation and growth opportunities.
• Support overall site operation, including cost management, schedule control, reporting, and contract administration.
• Lead planning, organisation, and mobilisation of labour, equipment, materials, and consumables for successful project delivery.
• Provide strong leadership, mentoring, and development opportunities to site personnel.
• Drive a positive safety culture and ensure compliance with all company and client requirements.
• Champion innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across project delivery.
• Support the ongoing development and mentoring of PNG national employees.

Required profile

• Previous site‑based experience within mining, resources, or construction industries.
• Proven management experience in mining, resources, construction, or heavy industrial environments.
• Strong leadership capability with the ability to motivate, develop, and influence teams.
• Experience working in an international or remote environment, preferably PNG.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Full Australian working rights and a valid passport.
